The customer purchased this boat in Florida, after it had been sitting outside for a while in the sun. The hatches were cored with balsa and were rotten. They were re-cored with fresh balsa. The deck was extremely dull and was three step buffed. The entire aluminum rub- rail was covered with deep gouges, and was replaced with new. There were also several areas of heavy fractures from some obvious abuse. All the areas were ground out and glassed and refinished in gel. The pictures came out a little dark but the boat looked fantastic when it was done, and most importantly the customer was very pleased. Two years later this customer brought the Elite-Craft, found in The Rot section, to the shop for repairs.
